August 27, 2012 – IBM announced the acquisition of human resources recruiting and employee management software company, Kenexa, for $1.3 billion. SAP acquired HR software competitor SuccessFactors for $3.4 billion in December 2011 and Oracle acquired Taleo in February 2012 for $1.9 billion.
