Blue Spike [NPE] filed seven separate suits against 3M Cogent, Antheus Technology, Aware, ImageWare Systems, NEC, Precise Biometrics, and TV Interactive Systems, alleging that the defendants’ fingerprint-based biometric software and software for automatic content recognition for Smart TVs infringe four patents related to monitoring and analyzing signals.
