Touchscreen Gestures Sues Google, Sony, and ViewSonic

Touchscreen Gestures [NPE] filed three separate suits against Google, Sony, and ViewSonic, alleging that the defendants’ tablets and smartphones infringe four patents related to touchscreens that identify tap and drag gestures.  Touchscreen has filed five prior suits since April 2011 against Apple, HTC, LG, RIM, and Samsung.  RPX reviewed the patents-in-suit as part of an open market opportunity (Sentelic) in February 2012.  9/5, Eastern District of Texas, no judge yet assigned, 6:2012cv00599; 6:2012cv00600; 6:2012cv00601.
