July 31, 2012 – Intellectual Ventures (IV) announced that it has entered into a licensing agreement with magicJack VocalTec. As part of the agreement, IV sold the new licensee a patent related to portable VoIP-modules that IV originally acquired from VocalTec in 2008 prior to the company’s merger with magicJack.
