Innovatio IP Ventures [NPE] filed 11 separate suits against Barnes & Noble, Delta Air Lines, FedEx, Home Depot, HVM, Jewel Food Stores, Lowe’s, McDonald’s, Starbucks, UPS, and Wal-Mart, alleging that the defendants’ wireless Internet services infringe 17 patents related to wireless networking.  Innovatio IP has filed over 10 prior suits since March 2011 and has been subject to four actions for declaratory judgment brought by Cisco, HP, Motorola, Netgear, and SonicWALL.  The patents-in-suit were assigned to Innovatio IP by Broadcom in February 2011.  5/18, Northern District of Illinois, Judge Matthew F.
