May 17, 2012 – Klausner Technologies announced that MetroPCS has licensed its visual voicemail patents. According to the press release, MetroPCS is the 51st company to license Klausner Technologies’ patents, and current licensees include major US and European mobile operators, handset manufacturers, VoIP/cable operators, enterprise voicemail providers, and other providers of Visual Voicemail services.  In January 2012, Klausner Technologies filed suit against MetroPCS, alleging that MetroPCS’ messaging services infringe two patents related to visual voicemail.  Klausner has filed over 40 patent infringement suits since June 2005.
