GPS Industries (GPSI) [NPE] filed suit against DECA International, alleging that DECA’s “Golf Buddy” rangefinder product line infringes two patents related to GPS-based golf course distance measuring and tracking systems.  GPSI has filed four prior suits since May 2007.  The plaintiff developed the asserted patents under the names ProLink Holdings Corporation and Golf Age Technologies.
