May 28, 2011-  Intellectual Ventures recorded another patent assignment on May 25 to Intellectual Ventures II, LLC.  Intellectual Ventures I, LLC initiated three lawsuits against DRAM, FPGA, and security software companies in December 2010.  To date, no suits have been initiated by IV II.  The most recent assignment to IV II records an additional patent originating from Hynix spin out, MagnaChip.  (Hynix spun MagnaChip out in 2004.)  MagnaChip assigned a number of patents to an apparent IV shell entity, Crosstek Capital in May 2009 which were then transferred to another LLC, Yat-Sen Holdings, a few months later.  Thus far, a total of 113 semiconductor patents have been assigned to IV II.  The assigned patents originated with Hynix, Cirrus Logic, and Cypress Semiconductor.
