Project Paperless [NPE] filed suit against BlueWave Computing, alleging that BlueWave’s data management systems (including scan-to-file and scan-to-email functions) infringe two patents related to scanning paper into digital form and automatically emailing the resultant digital copy.  Project Paperless filed one prior suit in January 2012 against UAV Communications.  The patents-in-suit originated with Imagination Software and were assigned to Renaissance Group IP Holdings before being assigned to Project Paperless in September 2011.  3/23, Northern District of Georgia, 1:2012cv00995.
