Peregrin Licensing LLC, a subsidiary of publicly traded NPE Quest Patent Research Corporation, has launched a new litigation campaign, suing Bank of America (2:21-cv-00267), Discover (2:21-cv-00265), US Bank (2:21-cv-00269), and Wells Fargo (2:21-cv-00268) over the provision of their respective “interactive voice response (IVR) systems for routing calls to financial assistance providers and . . . credit counseling services”. Up to six patents from an eight-patent family are asserted in overlapping sets against each defendant.
