February 2, 2012- On December 23, 2011, the USPTO recorded the assignments of 11 issued US patents by New Market Solutions, LLC to Task Management, Inc. The New Market Solutions portfolio was marketed for sale by ICAP Ocean Tomo as lot 117 in the fall 2010 auction. The lot, listed with expectations of $15 million, was withdrawn from the auction prior to sale. The patents relate to software implemented investment transactions. Payment card solutions company, New Market Solutions was acquired by HSBC subsidiary, ProfitPoint in 2008.
