Automated Tracking Solutions (ATS) [NPE] filed suit against Impinj over four patents related to RFID methods for tracking objects and people. ATS filed its first suit in July 2011 against Awarepoint, Bode Technology Group, Impinj, RadarFind, SimplyRFiD, and TeleTracking Technologies, but this case was dismissed for misjoinder. ATS has refilled against Impinj. 1/17, Eastern District of Virginia, 2:2012cv00038.
