Already Possessed of a Storied Litigation Past, Composite Imagery Patent Asserted Twice More

360 Heros, Inc. has filed two new cases over its composite imagery patent, suing Samsung (6:21-cv-00883) in the Western District of Texas and two days later, Affinity Media (1:21-cv-01230) in the District of Delaware. Judge Leonard P. Stark is in receipt of dispositive motions in prior litigation against GoPro over the same patent, trial set in that case for next March. Samsung is accused of infringement through the provision of its 360 Round VR Camera, targeting the positioning of the device’s multiple cameras within its body, as well as features related to the Samsung Stitching Program, which stiches together images from the accused device’s multiple cameras; Affinity Media, through the provision of the Mini EYE Professional 360 Camera.
