Lonestar Inventions [NPE] filed suit against Dialog Semiconductor, alleging that Dialog’s semiconductors infringe a patent related to high capacitance semiconductor structures.  Lonestar has filed 12 prior suits since January 2007 against defendants including AMD, Freescale, Kodak, Marvell, Matsushita, Nintendo, NVIDIA, Panasonic, Sandisk, Sony, and Xilinx.  Lonestar was also the subject of an action for declaratory judgment brought by Cadence Design Systems in February 2011.  Osman E. Akcasu is the named inventor on the patent-in-suit, which was assigned to Lonestar in September 2007.  1/18, Eastern District of Texas, 6:2012cv00025.
