Earthcomber [NPE] filed ten separate suits against Dominion Enterprises, LoopNet, Move Inc., Multifamily Technology Solutions, National Association of Realtors, Network Communications, Primedia, RealPage, Redfin, Trulia, Zillow, and Zip Realty, alleging that the defendants’ mobile apps infringe two patents related to location-based GPS searching.  Since October 2008, Earthcomber has filed three prior suits against Loopt, MiTAC Digital Corporation, and Zagat Survey.  James Brady is the named inventor on the patents-in-suit as well as the founder and president of Earthcomber.  The patents-in-suit were assigned to Earthcomber in October 2005 and March 2006.  1/18, Northern District of Illinois, 1:2012cv00386; 1:2012cv00387; 1:2012cv00388; 1:2012cv00389; 1:2012cv00390; 1:2012cv00391; 1:2012cv00392; 1:2012cv00393; 1:2012cv00394; 1:2012cv00395.
