Samsung Sued in Second Campaign This Year over Former Flex Patents

In a new Eastern District of Texas complaint, Multifold International Incorporated Pte. Ltd. (MII) has accused Samsung (2:21-cv-00371) of infringing 17 patents broadly directed to multi-display devices, including certain user interface functionalities and hinge connector assemblies. The accused products are certain foldable smartphones, including Samsung’s Galaxy Fold, the Galaxy Z Flip, the Galaxy Z Fold2, the Galaxy Z Flip3, and the Galaxy Z Fold3. This campaign is the second to hit Samsung with patents formerly held by Flex (f/k/a Flextronics).
