Charter Communications (Spectrum Mobile) (1:21-cv-01371) and UVNV (Mint Mobile) (1:21-cv-01370) are the latest defendants to be added to the 5G devices campaign of Decatur Licensing LLC, an apparent IP Edge LLC plaintiff. Decatur asserts a single former Huawei patent generally related to “obtaining radio access network information”, targeting in these new complaints the provision of 5G smartphones from Lenovo (Motorola Mobility). Last week also saw the dismissal of separate cases against Rohde & Schwartz and Sony from the campaign, which has been litigated in typical IP Edge fashion.
