RecogniCorp [NPE] filed suit against Nintendo, alleging that the Nintendo Wii’s software that transfers the facial features of the user onto a virtual character infringes a patent related to composite image customization.  This is the first patent infringement suit initiated byRecogniCorp.  The patent-in-suit originated with Interquest and was assigned to RecogniCorp by Apache Innovations in November 2011.  12/20, District of Oregon, 3:2011cv01532.
