ArrivalStar [NPE] and Melvino Technologies [NPE] filed suit against Pittsburgh Logistics Systems, alleging that PLS’s tracking platforms infringe six patents related to a notification and vehicle monitoring system.  Since 2006, ArrivalStar has filed more than 100 patent suits since 2003 against over 200 defendants.  Martin Kelly Jones is the named inventor on the patent-in-suit and ArrivalStar’s founder and CEO.  The patent-in-suit was assigned to Melvino Technologies in February 2010.  12/20, Middle District of Florida, 3:2011cv01248.
