Mobile Transformation [NPE] filed suit against Funtank and Publishers Clearing House Partners, alleging that the defendants’ websites infringe a patent related to displaying data of one type (such as audio) while simultaneously playing advertising data of a second type (such as video).  Mobile Transformation has filed two prior patent infringement suits since November 2011.  The patent-in-suit originated with Adware LI, and was assigned to Penobscot Prospect in November 2009.  Penobscot is the assignee of record according to the PTO.  The complaint identifies Mobile Transformation as the exclusive licensee of the patent-in-suit.  12/15, District of Delaware, 1:2011cv01248.
