For the third month running, ImmerVision (f/k/a 6115187 Canada Inc.) has filed a District of Delaware complaint against Apple (1:21-cv-01733). The most recent pleading asserts a patent—generally related to capturing a “digital panoramic image”—already in suit against Apple, with ImmerVision shifting the set of accused products and adding two new claims: breach of a “Mutual Confidentiality Agreement” and trade secret misappropriation. Targeted is the incorporation of wide-angle lenses in certain iPhones smartphones and iPad tablets.
