Comcast Sued in Wi-Fi Devices Campaign

Comcast (6:22-cv-00038) is the latest defendant to be added to the sole litigation campaign that inventor-controlled Be Labs, Inc. launched in July 2017. The plaintiff asserts two patents generally related to systems for wirelessly distributing media content throughout a “premises”, with Comcast accused of infringement through the provision of Xfinity and xFi-series gateways. At issue are the devices’ support of certain Wi-Fi features, including MU-MIMO and beam-forming.
