Long-Litigated Billing Patent, under New Ownership, Animates Fresh Litigation

BNP Holdings LLC has sued Intuit (1:22-cv-00065) over the provision of its “browser-based accounting software system”, as characterized in a new District of Delaware complaint. The asserted patent, broadly pertaining to an online billing system, is no stranger to litigation, having appeared in complaints filed in the campaign of BillingNetwork Patent, Inc. between March 2003 and December 2020.
