Vibrant Licensing LLC, a plaintiff apparently associated with IP Edge LLC, has filed its first litigation, suing BBK Electronics (OnePlus) (1:22-cv-00830) in the Southern District of New York; HMD (3:22-cv-00209) in the Northern District of Texas; and Lenovo (Motorola Mobility) (1:22-cv-00125), LG Electronics (LGE) (1:22-cv-00126) and TCL (TTE Technology) (1:22-cv-00127) in the District of Delaware. The two patents-in-suit, asserted in overlapping sets, are broadly directed to touch-sensitive sensors in the display of a device. The defendants are accused of infringement through the provision of smartphones that incorporate touch screens and/or in-display fingerprint sensors.
