Bala IC [NPE] filed suit against Integrated Device Technology, alleging that the defendant’s monolithic clock synthesizer infringes a patent related to a stable FET oscillator.  This is the first patent infringement suit iniated by Bala IC.  Fred Mirow is the named inventor on the patent-in-suit.  Mirow is the president of Bala IC and is also affiliated with a company called Micro Oscillator as well as prior plaintiff entity “Bala Delay Line“.  11/30, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, 2:2011cv07403.
