SFA Systems [NPE] filed suit against Drugstore.com, alleging that the company’s online sales tools infringe two patents related to automated sales, marketing, and supply chain management.  SFA has filed nine prior suits since July 2009 against over 65 defendants including Amazon, Blockbuster, Symantec, and Zappos.  SFA also filed suit against RightNow Technologies just four days after Oracle entered into an agreement acquire RightNow. The patents-in-suit were assigned from Phoenix IP to Triton IP (both entities tied to Erich Spangenberg’s IP Navigation in 2006).
