Apple filed an action for declaratory judgment against Graphics Properties Holdings (GPH) [NPE].  The complaint is currently unavailable.  GPH has filed two prior suits since November 2010 against over ten defendants including Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Nintendo, Sony, and Toshiba.  On November 22, 2011, GPH filed a complaint with the ITC against Apple, HTC, LG, RIM, Samsung, Sony, and Sony Ericsson, alleging that the respondents’ consumer electronics and display devices infringe three patents related to graphical display systems and supercomputers.  11/18, Northern District of California, 3:2011cv05598.
