RN Nehushtan Trust Limited (RNN Trust) has filed suit against Apple (3:22-cv-01832) in the Northern District of California. Asserted are two patents generally related to a cellular device with a “data mode” for changing “settings”, as well as reading and writing memory data. The plaintiff targets Apple over its provision of mobile devices, including various Apple Watches, iPads, and iPhones, pleading that the patents’ named inventor “foresaw problems associated with cloning and hacking of smart phones”.
