Past as Precedent, Slingshot Printing Files Second Complaint Against Canon

This past January, Slingshot Printing LLC sued Canon in the Eastern District of New York, asserting four patents described by the plaintiff as related to “inkjet printer technology”. This week, the NPE hit Canon (2:22-cv-01852) with a second case in the same district, asserting three more such patents. Infringement allegations across both complaints target the provision of inkjet printers and related products, including ink cartridges and printheads.
