Wireless Power Transfer Campaign Expands by Ten Defendants and a Second Plaintiff
A second plaintiff has joined the litigation campaign of sister IP Edge LLC entity Creekview IP LLC, Waverly Licensing LLC suing Anker Innovations (Fantasia Trading) (1:22-cv-00421), AT&T (1:22-cv-00420), Granite River Labs (1:22-cv-00422), Leviton Manufacturing (1:22-cv-00423), Otter Products (1:22-cv-00424), and Parrot (1:22-cv-02665). Waverly asserts a single patent generally related to charging a device with an “authorized charger”. It belongs to the same family as Creekview IP’s patent, which that plaintiff has asserted in new complaints as well, one filed against each of Best Buy (1:22-cv-00425), GN Store Nord (Jabra) (1:22-cv-00426), Skullcandy (1:22-cv-00427), and Zound Industries (1:22-cv-00428), expanding the campaign begun with its five November 2021 cases.
