NPE Associated with OL Patents Launches Campaign Trained on Networking Solutions

Arena IP, LLC, an entity associated with Ortiz & Lopez, PLLC (d/b/a OL PATENTS), has filed its first litigation, suing AT&T (6:22-cv-00384), Cisco Systems (6:22-cv-00382), and Ericsson (6:22-cv-00381) in the Western District of Texas. Asserted is a single patent generally related to managing the communication of data to “hand held wireless devices located throughout a sports and entertainment venue”, with the defendants accused of infringement through the provision of certain networking solutions and products that support various interactive functionalities intended for spectators of an event (e.g., betting and streaming/uploading content).
