Collarity filed suit against Google, alleging that Google’s search tools infringe a patent related to search suggestions.  The patent has a 2006 priority. RPX acquired US Patent No. 7,461,155 from inventor Richard Reisman. The ’155 patent has a 2000 priority and also relates to search suggestions based on social usage. This is the first patent infringement suit initiated by Collarity. Emil Ismalon is the named inventor of the patent-in-suit and founder of Collarity in 2005.
