Quantum Imaging LLC has filed its first litigation, suing Sony (Bluepoint Games) (6:22-cv-00573) over the provision of a wide range of features, including video game purchases, video game wishlists, in-game purchases, and real-time in-game messaging systems, within certain gaming products, including various PlayStation consoles and video games, as well as the PlayStation Network platform. Four patents are asserted, one generally related to either integrating business-related content into a game application and three broadly concerning an “interactive software application for providing a virtual thematic environment”.
