IpLearn Sues K12 over Educational Software

IpLearn [NPE] filed suit against K12, Inc., alleging that the company’s group learning software, Elluminate Learning Suite, and products used to analyze student’s test results infringe three patents related to Web-based and computer-aided learning systems.  IpLearn has filed six prior suits since 2004 against over 25 defendants including Avnet, Blackboard, Cengage, Kenexa, LawsonLearnShare, and Oracle.  Peter Tong and Chi Fai Ho are the founders of IpLearn and named inventors of the patents-in-suit, which were assigned to IpLearn in 2002.  10/26, District of Delaware, 1:2011cv01026.
