Comarco Wireless Systems LLC (CWS) has expanded its sole litigation campaign with suits against Anker (2:22-cv-00266) in the Eastern District of Texas and Lenovo (5:22-cv-00273) in the Eastern District of North Carolina. The asserted patents generally relate to supplying power to a portable electronic device, with the defendants accused of infringement through the provision of “portable electronic devices” (i.e., computers, data hubs, laptops, and power banks) equipped with rechargeable batteries and USB-C ports, as well as certain power adapters. At issue are the products’ compliance with certain USB standards.
