AutoBrilliance, LLC has sued Honda (2:22-cv-00338) and Nissan (2:22-cv-00337) over one of the three patents that it began litigating back in September 2019. The asserted patent generally relates to a “sensor alignment system” in vehicles. Targeted is the provision of automobiles equipped with sensors and certain related safety and driver assistance technologies. This additional round of litigation follows successful attacks on the other two patents-in-campaign, one via inter partes review (IPR) and the other via ex parte reexamination.
