In its latest complaint, Winterspring Digital LLC asserts the same three former Intellectual Ventures LLC (IV) patents, described as generally related to “routing data over a network”, this time against Broadcom (2:22-cv-00402). The NPE targets the provision of various Ethernet networking devices and network management software for the inclusion of various features, including support for 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10GE), packet tagging, and network management GUIs. This campaign, begun in January 2022, has yet to see an answer filed.
