VoltStar Technologies, Inc. has continued to file complaints in the campaign that it began back in August 2015, hitting two more retailers earlier this month: B&H Photo Video (1:22-cv-23198) in the Southern District of New York and Walgreens (1:22-cv-23198) in the Southern District of Florida. A single reissue patent is asserted in each complaint, the patent generally related to a charger plug, with VoltStar accusing B&H Photo of infringement through the provision of the iEssentials Wall Charger and Walgreens, of its Dual Port Wall Charger. Most prior cases have ended in relatively quick fashion; however, two recent defendants have filed answers in response to VoltStar’s complaints.
