Select Retrieval [NPE] filed suit against 85 online retailers including BarnesandNoble.com, Dell, J&R Electronics, LG, Philips, Staples, and Wal-Mart over a patent related to graphical representation of hierarchical database records.  Select Retrieval filed three prior suits since June 2011 against over 40 defendants including Pantech, Radio Shack and Walgreen’s.  The patents-in-suit were controlled by Lowry Software, Cornus Corporation, Stratia Concepts and Unifi Scientific Advances before being assigned to Select Retrieval in February 2011.  9/13, District of Delaware, 1:2011cv00812.
