HSM Portfolio [NPE] and Technology Properties Limited (TLP) [NPE] filed suit against Advanced Micro Devices, Cirrus Logic, Elpida Memory, Freescale, Fujitsu, Hynix, Marvell, Micron, Nvidia, ON Semiconducotr, ProMOS, Qualcomm, STMicroelectronics, Sandisk, Sony, Toshiba, Xilinx, and Zoran over four patents related to circuits for semiconductor devices.  The patents-in-suit originated with Thunderbird Technologies (founded by solo inventor), before being assigned to HSM and subsequently licensed to TPL.  TPL is a licensing and enforcement entity that has filed more than a dozen patent suits since 2008.  9/1, District of Delaware, 1:2011cv00770.
