Innovus Prime [NPE] filed suit against Funai, LG, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Pixelworks, Sharp, Toshiba, Vizio, and Zoran over a patent related to processing picture signals to improve image quality for TVs.  This is the first suit filed by Innovus Prime.  The patent-in-suit originated with Philips and was assigned to NXP and Trident Microsystems before being assigned to Innovus in April 2011.  8/26, Northern District of California, 5:2011cv04223.
