Technologies Properties Limited (TPL) [NPE] filed suit against Action Electronics, Aiptek, Aluratek, America Action, Audiovox, CEIVA Logic, Circus World Displays, Coby, Curtis, Digital Spectrum Solutions, Kodak, Mustek, Nextar, Pandigital, Royal Consumer Information Products, Sony, Transcend, ViewSonic, and Win Accord over four patents related to flash media card adapters.  TPL is a licensing company that owns the rights to hundreds of US patents.  The patents-in-suit all list Sreenath Mambakkam as a named inventor and were previously assigned to Onspec Electronics and FMM Portfolio, later known as MCM Portfolio, prior to being assigned to TPL in July 2011.  TPL has been involved in more than a dozen suits since 2008 against defendants including Acer, HTC, and Panasonic.  8/24, Eastern District of Texas, 2:2011cv00372.
