Inventor-controlled HyperX Networks, LLC has sued Ciena (0:22-cv-62366) over the support of Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) within its Blue Planet Manage, Control and Plan solution. Two patents are asserted in the new Southern District of Florida complaint. The named inventor, Daniel Xavier (“Xavier”) Perez, identifies himself on social media as having been, since March 2020, the CEO of XFactor Networks, described as a company owning a “patented Zero Touch Provisioning process and single pane of glass architecture eliminates manual and repetitive tasks, reduces human capital, and improves SLA’s for ISP’s Enterprise Business, and MSP’s alike”.
