I/P Engine [NPE] filed suit against AOL, Gannet, Google, IAC Search, and Target over two patents related to search engine rankings.  This is the first time I/P Engine has filed suit.  The patents-in-suit originated with Lycos and were assigned to Smart Search Labs before being assigned to I/P Engine on September 14, 2011.  9/15, Eastern District of Virginia, 2:2011cv00512.
