Compression Technology Solutions (CTS) [NPE] filed suit against CA, EMC, HP, IBM, NetApp, Quantum, and Quest over a patent related to data deduplication software. This is the first time CTS has filed suit. The patent-in-suit was assigned to CTS in August 2011 by Acacia Research Group. 9/12, Eastern District of Missouri, 4:2011cv01579.
