Personal Audio [NPE] filed suit against HTC, LG, Motorola Mobility, RIM and Samsung over a patent related to playlist management. Personal Audio has filed three prior suits since 2009. In July 2011, a Texas jury ordered Apple to pay Personal Audio $8 million in damages over claims related to Apple’s iPod devices. 9/9, Eastern District of Texas, 1:2011cv00432.
