DataTreasury [NPE] filed suit against 25 financial institutions over three patents related to mobile banking applications.  Since 2002, DataTreasury has filed over 15 suits against over 50 defendants.  The company claims to have received more than $350 million in settlement and licensing fees including settlements with Citibank for $50 million, First Data Corp. for $38 million, and Union Bank of California for $23.5 million.  In March 2010, US Bancorp was ordered by a court to pay $53 million to Datatreasury.  9/8, Eastern District of Texas, 6:2011cv00470.
