B.I. Systems [NPE] filed suit against Actuate, IBM, Information Builders, Lawson Software, and Qlik Technologies over a patent related to business intelligence and performance management programs.  B.I. Systems has filed one prior suit against eight defendants.  The patent-in-suit originated with inventor Jerry Jackson who licensed the patent-in-suit to Acacia Patent Acquisition in 2009.  9/6, Middle District of Florida, 6:2011cv01472.
