The networking campaign of Cobblestone Wireless, LLC has expanded in multiple ways, as the plaintiff has filed a new Eastern District of Texas complaint against new defendant Samsung (2:23-cv-00285) that adds a fifth patent to the litigation and as Ericsson and Nokia have moved successfully to intervene in the December 2022 suits that Cobblestone filed in the same district. There, the plaintiff sued AT&T (AT&T Mobility), Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile), and Verizon (Verizon Wireless) over the alleged infringement of four Empire Technology Development LLC patents; the fifth patent now also in suit against Samsung hails from a different source.
