MuTag Tracking LLC has filed its first litigation, suing Apple (4:23-cv-00674) over the alleged infringement of a single patent entitled “Artificial intelligence for loss prevention tags”. The Texas plaintiff received the patent from original assignee informu about a year ago, now targeting the provision of a variety of devices (e.g., laptops, smartphones, and tablets) “equipped with software that communicates and interfaces” with Apple AirTags.
